I was pleased when a representative at Skin MD Natural contacted me about trying their Shielding Lotion. Today I’m happy to tell you about this product and give you a chance to win it.
What is shielding lotion?
A shielding lotion keeps moisture-robbing irritants away from the skin while the proprietary ‘super’ humectants hydrate the skin throughout the day. Why do we need this product?

What did you like about this product?

I was also pleased to find that you can use it as a base for makeup and protect your skin against the chemicals in the make-up. Despite its shielding effect Skin MD Natural doesn't prevent the skin from breathing, it actually improves it by keeping the skin pores from being clogged with outside irritants that are often too complex to be eliminated naturally.

I learned that light therapy can help psoriasis–my mom suffers from that, unfortunately.

I learned that Skin MD is 6 times as moisturizing as glycerin. This would be awesome on the eczema and "alligator arms" that run in my family:)

Although Skin MD markets itself to only be a bit over 93% "natural," it is still considered to be very good as the other 7% account for ingredients that food or medical grade and on FDA's most safe list. In fact, Skin MD claims to have the most transparent ingredient disclosure in the industry.

I learn that " Dry skin and itchy skin are nature's way of warning you that the protective elements of your outer layer of skin have been stripped away.
Most soaps and cleansers contain fragrances, colorants, antibacterial agents and many other ingredients that strip away these protective elements of the outer layer of skin. Thanks!
