We just finished up our tax stuff this past week. As a blogger and someone who’s been keeping home business records for the last few years, I find it helpful to do bookkeeping and filing on a regular basis to stay organized.
While file folders and binder systems are very helpful organizational tools, rubber stamps are also quite useful for business as well as personal files.
Places like Xstamper, RubberStamps.com, and DiscountRubberStamps.com offer self inking stamps, notary stamps, embossers,, and other products for a variety of personal and small business purposes.
The most obvious need is for a return address stamp. Just imagine not having to purchase or make anymore return address labels!
And then of course you have my favorite, the basic business stamps that say things like “copy, paid, shipped, received.” I don’t think I need to explain what these are used for, but let me just say, when it comes to record keeping (and especially needing to look back at old records) these stamps, combined with a date stamped, are absolute life savers!
I was also interested to find some social media stamps as well as some patriotic stamps, both of which could be great to go on postcards other media.
And I found some great stamps for teachers too! They say things like “Checked,” “Very Good,” and “Check Your Work.”
And one of my favorite products that I believe everyone should have is an identity theft guard stamp. This is a stamp that you place over your address on junk mail (or anything else that has your address) before you throw it out, to keep people from getting your information and stealing your identity.
