Amaretto Christmas Cookie Fudge from Judy of Season of Sweets

Who doesn’t love fudge around the holidays?  Today we’ve got a great take on fudge…an Amaretto Christmas Cookie Fudge!  This recipe comes to us from Judy of Season of Sweets.  And it looks really yummy!

Hello and Happy Holidays! I’m Judy from Season of Sweets where I blog all about cake decorating, sugar confections and gumpaste flowers.

I love making and giving goodies to friends and family during the holidays. The red and green candied cherries are so festive in this Amaretto Christmas Cookie Fudge and it’s super simple to make too! You could easily change the cookies and cheeries (dried fruit will work) and come up with a variety of cookie fudge for holiday gifts.

Amaretto Christmas Cookie Fudge

Amaretto Christmas Cookie Fudge

* 1 (14oz.) can sweetened condensed milk

* 3 cups white chocolate chips

* 1 teaspoon vanilla

* ½ cup amaretto cookies, crushed slightly

* ¼ cup candied green cherries

* ¼ cup candied red cherries

Line a 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper. Lightly coat with cooking spray.

Sprinkle half of the cookies and cherries on the bottom of pan. Heat milk and

chocolate until chips are completely melted. Stir in vanilla. Pour into pan covering

cookies and cherries. Top with remaining cookies and cherries pressing them in slightly.

Let cool then refrigerate to firm up (about 30 minutes.) Once firm cut into bite-size pieces.

Best served at room temperature.
