Shark Rocket Review and Giveaway

Fall Cleaning Series Banner

Today we continue our series of cleaning products and tips for the fall season. If you struggle to keep your floors clean and are always looking for the latest and greatest invention to help out, look no further! Today I’m sharing my new Shark Rocket Ultralight Upright!  I am very excited to add this to my arsenal of cleaning products, and I’m sure you would love it too.

Prior to getting the Shark Rocket, I had a full size canister vacuum as well as a stick vac AND a hand vac.  Let’s talk about these first:

-My full size canister vac did a good job of cleaning up everyday messes, but it was such a pain to drag out!  It also didn’t pick up everything, and the attachments were kind of a pain in the neck, more than a help.

-I had actually stopped using my full size vacuum entirely, and I mostly used my stick vac, because it is lightweight. But it lacked powerful suction and had no attachments.

-And as for my hand vac, well, I bought it and used it maybe three times.  It was a total waste of money!

Enter the Shark Rocket!

 Shark Rocket Review

The Shark Rocket takes the place of all three tools I listed above.  As a matter of fact, after using the Shark just once, I decided to throw out my hand vac, and then I donated my full size vacuum, and my stick vac will likely be donated or put in a garage sale.

Why do I love the Shark, you ask?  Here are a few reasons:

Ease of use.  The light weight of only 8 pounds, combined with the 32 ft cord allows me to take it anywhere.  It’s not a pain to drag out even for the smallest jobs.  It also has easy assembly and versatility. You can easily remove and add attachments in a flash, and it even converts in to a hand vac!

Power!  My husband and I are both amazed at the suction.  In our home we have food crumbs, pet hair, grass, and misc. debris to pick up.  The Shark does a great job of picking up even the smallest and finest pieces of trash off your floor.  And it has 2 power settings so that you may use it on all surfaces from carpet, to bare floors, and even hard wood!

Versatility.  Again, I have to stress how versatile the machine is.  Its unique design allows you to take it under furniture and hard to reach spaces, and its attachments and conversion to a hand vac allow you to clean stairs, furniture, ceiling fans, and car upholstery.

Shark Rocket Attachments

Attachments.   Aside from the attachment that cleans the floor, you get the following:

12 inch crevice tool for hard to reach spaces (and great for crumbs and debris on the floor)

pet/upholstery tool to remove pet hair and dusty from curtains, upholstery, and stairs.

dusting brush to clean debris and dust all surfaces

dust-away + 1 pad for all hard floor surfaces, vacuum large debris and pick up fine dust in one easy step.

These are all great.  So far I’ve only used the floor attachment, crevice tool, and pet/upholstery tool, but I’m excited to use the others.  The upholstery tool worked great on our couch and the futon in our son’s room, and I saw a video where it was used to pick up pet hair on the carpet, so I may try that!

And the crevice tool is awesome for just doing a quick walk through and picking up debris here and there, as well as getting all the hard to reach areas and corners of rooms and furniture.

The regular vacuum attachment is also great.  I was amazed at how much stuff it picked up off our carpet, and the powerful suction and brushed made it almost self-propelled.  This is definitely my favorite cleaning tool now, and I know I will be getting tons of use out of it!
