The fall season brings so much stress.  First we have the back to school season, and that is immediately followed by the holiday season.  This also just happens to be the time that is the busiest for my business.  With everything going on, it is absolutely essential that I am feeling well and have plenty of energy.  One thing that I find helps with this is Emergen-C®.  Today I’m going to tell you why Emergen-C is a fall must-have for me, and I’ve got a delicious “better for you” popsicle recipe featuring the product!

Emergen-C is a dietary supplement.  It comes in powder form that, when mixed with water, makes a delicious fizzy drink that’s great for a morning pick me up or as an electrolyte replacement after your workout.  It also provides a great source of Vitamin C and antioxidants for immune support and B vitamins to enhance your energy without caffeine.

I personally find that I feel energized and have a better day when I’ve taken the proper vitamins and supplements, and I like Emergen-C, because it gives me the essential vitamins and nutrients that I need in a delicious and easy-to-take form.

Emergen-C® is packed with B vitamins, antioxidants† , electrolytes plus more vitamin C than 10 oranges^. With over 20 flavors, you have plenty of delicious varieties to choose from.*

chapstick

For this time of year, I also like to have plenty of ChapStick® on hand.  I always keep it in my purse and at my desk, and I have a few extra tubes stocked in the bathroom.  Chapstick softens and protects lips every day with 11 moisturizing ingredients.   The product also functions as an SPF 12 sunscreen and has a hydrating formula, containing aloe and Vitamin E.  You can purchase ChapStick in individual packages, as well as in packets of three or more tubes.

Chapstick also has a number of flavors available.  I’ve always loved their Classic Cherry and Class Spearmint varieties.  But there are many others to choose, including Aloha Coconut from their Tropical Paradise Collection.

You can find Emergen-C and Chapstick at Walmart in the health and beauty department.  Look for Emergen-C on the vitamin and the supplements aisle, and look for Chapstick on the cold and flu aisle.

And on top of Walmart’s everyday prices, you can fill out a simple form online to save $2 on a box of Emergen-C and save .50 on Chapstick.

Another great thing about Emergen-C is that you are not limited to just adding it to water.  You can add it to your favorite juice drink or favorite smoothie recipe, and you can even use it to make homemade popsicles.

I love homemade popsicles.  They are such a fun snack to make, and by making them at home, you can control what goes in them to ensure you’ve got a “better for you” snack.  Today I’m sharing a very easy recipe for Strawberry Banana Orange Popsicles.  These creamy and delicious popsicles are made with three simple ingredients: yogurt, banana, and Emergen-C.  (My recipe also includes a note on adding other fruits.)

I find this is a great way to get a little bit of dairy and fruit in your diet, while at the same time getting that burst of vitamin C and other vitamins and nutrients.  And it’s a great snack for any time of day!

  1. That’s pretty smart using Emergen-C for the orange flavoring so they have vitamins in them too! I’d add some diced up strawberries to them too so you get little bits of real strawberry in them.
