Our Forest Friends Nursery Reveal

In the past few years, we have done several home makeover and DIY projects.  We’ve done a little painting outside, put up new light fixtures, painted furniture, gotten new appliances, and bought all new furniture in our living room, but I don’t think anything has been quite as exciting or as fun as putting together our new baby nursery!  After deliberating over a few themes and color schemes, I finally decided on the Forest Friends theme from Sweet Jojo Designs.

I LOVE this brand.  I first attracted to the overall look and colors of this set, and when I saw all the different types of accessories that were available, I was SOLD!  I’ve seen plenty of bedding sets with just your basic sheet, comforter, mobile, and diaper stacker.  If I wanted any other pieces, I’d just have to look around for something that sort of matches, but all of the Sweet Jojo Designs collections have EVERYTHING you could possibly need to decorate your nursery, including matching wall art and wall decals.

Apart from the great designs, the collection is also very high quality, and each nursery collection has a matching toddler and child bedding set, so when baby Thaxon gets big enough for his toddler bed, I’ll just have to get a new bedding set, and we can continue using the rest of his decor!

This set even had a coordinating laundry hamper (above, left), and the bedding set came with a super cute diaper stacker and throw pillow.

Apart from the bedding set, they also offer a great crib bumper.

And you can get rail covers for the sides and front of the crib.  The rail covers are designed to protect baby when he is at the standing up phase, so he doesn’t bump his head or mouth, but they for me, they just added so much color and character in the room!

We also got this cute matching changing pad cover, which is very colorful and plush.

The bedding set also came with the toy hanger on the wall, a pair of curtains, and 3 wall hangings.  We also bought a set of three additional wall hangings, and I got set of wall decals.  They also offer a said of window panels, but I opted not to buy those, although they were very cute.

There were only a couple of things I bought that were not in the Sweet Jojo Designs collection. Although there was a Forest Friends lampshade, I preferred this Woodland Tales Lamp with Shade.

And I got the Woodland Tales Mobile, because I love how it featured all the animals in the Forest Friends collection.

We also got a plain set of nursery letters, which my husband painted espresso and put on the wall with command strips.

Hope you enjoyed this tour.  For more information on the nursery furniture we got, you can take a look at my earlier post.
