Teacher Easter Basket Tutorial

March is here, and Easter is just around the corner! (It’s March 27 this year!)  It’s time to gather up your favorite Easter goodies and create some fun Easter Baskets!  Of course, the Easter Bunny has the kids covered, but what about the adults?  Are there any special adults in your life that would get a little joy out of an Easter basket this year?  Perhaps a neighbor, a grandmother, or a teacher?

As someone who always “loved school” and “loved learning” I’ve always had a huge appreciation for teachers.  In fact, when I was kid I either wanted to be a writer or a teacher, and if I wasn’t working from home, I’d likely be teaching English or history.  That being said, I generally love the profession, and I appreciate everything that the teachers in our local schools do.

Generally the kids give gifts to the teachers at Christmas and at the end of the school year, but I personally love giving gift baskets, and what better time to give one than at Easter?  If you happen to be the head room mother, this is something great that you can give as a class gift to your teacher!  If you have an adult child or other relative who’s a teacher, it could be a great project to put together for them as well.  Today I’m going to show you how I put together a fun Teacher Easter Basket using MARS & Wrigley’s products and other items.  Plus, I’ve got some free printable tags that you can add to your baskets! Easy New Way to Get Freebies

PINCHme Box

I was so excited the other day when I was asked to be a PINCHme blogger.  Have you heard of PINCHme?  It is a site that offers great freebies to its members.  All you have to do is create a member profile letting them know what you’re interested in, and you’ll find offers, which match these preferences.

As samples become available, you can opt in and that sample will be added to your next PINCHme box.  Then you just try the products and leave them some feedback.  Yay!

I just received 2 samples to help facilitate this post about Sample Tuesday, which is today.  Today you can visit PINCHme and opt in to sample the products you see here and more.

As you can see, my box contained a variety of products including health & beauty, cleaning, and snacks!  I was excited to open my box and find all these goodies….it was literally like have Simply Sweet Home in a box!

And then we also received a box for the furbabies!  This box contained some great dog treats and cat food, as well as a full value coupon for cat litter and some milk bone coupons!

I still have a few things to learn about this site, but so far I really like it!  Opening up these surprise boxes was so much fun, and so far I’ve loved the products that I’ve tried.  (Can’t wait to get more samples in the next PINCHme box!)

15 Fall Subway Art Printables

15 Fall Subway Art Printables
I feel like I’m a little late to the party with this post, since everyone started sharing their fall decor a month ago, but I was doing my fall decorating last weekend (decor post still to come), and I decided to go online and get a free printable to frame for my living room.  When I started searching, I was overwhelmed by all the cuteness I saw, so I decided to throw together a post with some of my favorites!

I have to confess, I did recycle the 5 at the bottom from a previous post I did, to get 15 for this post!  The five I shared a couple of years ago were so cute, I thought they were worth a second look, and I like having all of these in one place just for my own convenience, and I’m sure it’s better for you too.

As always, the links where you go to download this great artwork can be found underneath each photo.  Hope you enjoy!
