My Favorite Healthy Snacks from Fiber One

Fiber One Bars

After all the Halloween candy and treats, you may be longing for something healthy to add to your diet. (Or maybe you’re already ready thinking about all the holiday eating ahead); either way you can indulge in a sweet treat and still remain guilt free with Fiber One Products.

I love, love, LOVE Fiber One.  I’ve been eating their brownies for a long time, and earlier this year I tried out their Lemon Bars, which are just amazing!  What I love about the treats is that they are a low calorie food, and they are a great source of fiber, and yet, they still taste very delicious.  (And believe me, I’m picky when it comes to flavor!)

Any time I shop in the aisle that has the Fiber One bars and snacks, I’m always seeing other products to try, and last month I finally tried a few.  The three items I tried were the Chocolate Chip Cookies, Streusel Bars, and Meal Bars.  And I loved them all!

Fiber One Cookies

Because I’m such a fan of the brownies, I’ve wanted to try the cookie for a while.  As you’d expect, it’s not quite as sweet as your typical chocolate chip cookie, I think they make a very delicious, and a pretty filling snack. (Each cookie also contains 20% of your daily value of fiber!)

The streusel bars were also a big hit with me.  These were strawberry flavored with oats and brown sugar, and they are very delicious, almost like something you’d get from a pastry shop, and yet they have 20% of your daily value of fiber, are just 150 calories per bar and have 12 grams of whole grain.

And finally we have the Meal Bars.  I was very surprised at how much I liked these  These come in a few flavors, but I got the Dark Chocolate Almond.  Unlike the other Fiber One Products, they bars are bigger (about twice the size or more of the other products) and since they are a Meal Bar, I suppose they should be.  I found them to be quite yummy and very filling.  And the bars have 10 grams of protein, plus 9 grams of fiber.

Look for Fiber One Snack Bars at your local Target store.  They are located in the healthy snack aisle.
