Easy Family Meals with Stouffers

The holiday season is here!  It is such a fun time, but it’s also a busy time for me.  Of course, we have all the extra holiday events with family and school.  And then additionally this is the busiest time of year for my Etsy shop.  Between that and my usual blogging and other responsibilities, the month of December is a whirlwind!  Perhaps more than ever, this is the best time to have some easy family meal options!

Thanks to Stouffer’s®, I am able to serve a complete Italian meal to my family, including a round of Mini Cannoli Pies, with very little prep work at all!

Stouffers

Stouffer’s® Lasagna with Meat Sauce is a delicious meal!  It’s so yummy that it’s become our go-to option when we want lasagna. (I never bake a homemade lasagna, and I never order it at any restaurant!)

And of course, I also love it because it is easy and convenient.  Just pop it in the oven, and you’re good to go!

The large family size is also great, because it offers you about 7 servings.  For my family, that means we have enough to invite company over or enjoy leftovers the next day.

Stouffers at Walmart

STOUFFER’S® Lasagna with Meat Sauce and other STOUFFER’S® Family Size Entreés can be found at Walmart in the freezer section.  And from now until December 31, the product is on Rollback!

Stouffers Lasagna

The best part about cooking a convenient meal like STOUFFER’S® Lasagna is that you have plenty of time to do other chores, and/or expand your meal to include other items.

When I look my lasagna, I love to have a little side salad, and garlic bread is ALWAYS a must-have.  For my bread, I usually just grab a few slices of sandwich bread, but I occasionally buy a loaf of Italian bread from the Walmart bakery when I’ll know we will be eating Italian food.

On my bread, I just spread a little butter, and then I sprinkle on a little parmesan cheese, garlic salt, and basil.  Then once I take the lasagna out, I just bake my bread for about 5 minutes at the same temperature as the lasagna.  (Or if you want your bread lightly browned, you can broil it for a few minutes on low.)

Cannoli Minis

And if you really want a full meal,  you need dessert, right?  One of my all time favorite desserts is the cannoli.  I buy these cannolis from a restaurant down the road from us, and they are just amazing!

Last week during our most recent Italian dinner, I made a cannoli knock-off.  These Mini Cannoli Pies are a sweet and delicious treats that are also easy to make and even more fun to serve!
