The holiday season is here, which means shoppers are flocking to the store to buy gifts for everyone on their list, and a lot of us are also racing to the store to buy grocery items for our holiday menus.  If you’ve been assigned to provide the dessert this year, you can bring something delicious and easy to the table by choosing Marie Callender’s® Pies and Loaf Cakes.  Today I’m going to tell you a little bit about these amazing desserts and show you can use Marie Callender’s Dutch Apple Pie in a recipe.

Marie Callender’s Dutch Apple Pie tastes just like the homemade pies your grandmother used to make.  And the pies are a dessert made easy; just thaw, bake, and serve!

Then top your pie off with a little Reddi-Wip® Real Whipped Cream.  Reddi-Wip is made with a real cream and is a great alternative to the non-dairy frozen toppings.

Marie Callender also has a line of loaf cakes.  These are made from scratch and are ready-to-heat and eat, from the freezer to the oven to the table.

Check your local Kroger store for these varieties:

  • Marie Callender’s® Double Chocolate Chip Loaf Cake
  • Marie’s Callender’s® Pound Cake Loaf Cake
  • Marie Callender’s® Banana Nut Loaf Cake
  • Marie Callender’s® Dutch Apple Loaf Cake

You can find Marie Callender’s Pies and Loaf Cake in the dessert freezer at your local Kroger store.

Coupon! Starting November 14 through December 30, you can save $1 on any Marie Callender’s loaf cake with this coupon.

And don’t forget to add Reddi Wip to your shopping list!  You can find it in the dairy freezer at your local Kroger.

Not only do Marie Callender’s pies and loaf cakes make a great addition to your holiday dessert table, but they can also be used as ingredients in your own dessert creations.  You can repurpose an entire dessert or utilize a couple of leftover pieces to create something entirely new.  To give you an example of this, I put together this Vanilla Cream Cheese Apple Pie Dip.  To make the dip, I used a couple of pieces of Marie Callender’s Dutch Apple Pie and a few simple ingredients.  The result is a sweet treat you can use for dipping graham crackers, cookies, or fruit.
